OSG TABLE 7.1

In the 17th edition OSG Table 7.1 for max cable length refereing to the allowed installation methods why is method B no where to be seen in this table yet it is there in table 7.2 is this method not allowed any more or have I missed something. Can not find any explanation, has anyone got any ideas.

I don't think for a minute that it isn't allowed, in conduit on a surface is fine.
Method B isn't an installation method listed in table 4D5 of the regs which is possibly why it isn't mentioned in table 7.1.
