Why isn't there an investigation into the companies Owen Paterson is alleged to have been lobbying for.
If they are found to have used unethical methods to get these contracts, then the contracts should be cancelled and any money paid to them reclaimed.
Of course it would be hard to prove but it shouldn't be so easy for Big money to tap up Politicians.

Paterson tried to use the reason that he was doing it for “exceptional circumstances” as a public health benefit.

Lobbying doesn’t distinguish whether it’s for good or bad reasons, so your argument is mute.
