Paedophile murdered in prison.

I can't help but notice, but it's always the atheists in the forum that jump around saying 'disembowel him, garrott him, hang him etc.'

This is what happens when society loses its moral compass due to atheism. It creates a rabble rather than a society, where mob rule takes over.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Atheism is the bane of our society.

Nah, it's usually the do-gooding, God fearing type who let scum like this , out of prison to re-offend in the first place. ;) ;)

One can fully understand the sentiment in the original post and this young man
is (or was) a serious menace to young girls.

Whilst one can feel no sympathy for him, no-one has commented on how the man's family will be feeling, and particularly his parents. For instance, how must his mother be feeling, having brought up a son who then stooped to this level, and then being killed in prison?

Of course, we also have to feel for the loss suffered by his victims, and the understandable anger and bitterness of their families. It's one of those sad situations in which there are no answers and no winners, only loosers all round.

Don't worry Tony, this ex-prisoner's family will soon be seeking compensation from the Prison Service, for their failure to protect this scumbag.

We were discussing this earlier and my partner said the very same thing.
I can honestly say that if my son ever assaulted a child and I found out about it I would, without hesitation, inform the police. He knows I will because we have had discussions on these pervs and he knows I will instantly disown him.

Pity the prison service can't counter sue them for not bringing him up correctly.

Why would you discuss disowning your own kid? Why the unnecessary threats?

No, I'm saying that many of the sentences handed out by our courts these days are far too lenient.

That maybe.

In that case, the folk who are up in arms about it should be lobbying for harsher punishments.

The law is the law and the Police and the judges very often don't like it, but they can only do what they can do (ie operate within the law) and sometimes the judge would like to hand out more but gives the maximum punishment he can.

You'll find many a Policeman or a judge frustrated by their hands being tied.

conny, I think you've missed my point.

When I say judge, jury and executioner, what I mean is that the inmates have unanimously decided that the punishment already handed down to the deceased by a UK court of law was insufficient and without trial or jury have decided to punish him further by executing him.

Because we have meaningful adult discussions and as he knows my feelings on these people he openly asked me the question.
I gave him the honest answer and his reply was he would do the same if it was me. Its called an understanding and we both know where we stand.

SS I appreciate your explanation.

Conny's absolutely right.

If my son turned out to be a beast, he'd have to go.

That's easy to say, but what would that achieve? Yes, I could write to my MP suggesting that punishments should be harsher. If I was lucky, my MP might agree with me and raise the matter in parliament. If I was even luckier, some other MPs might agree with him. If I was very lucky indeed, a sufficient number of MPs might bring about a vote in the house. If I was extremely lucky, the vote might result in a majority agreeing with the motion. Then the Lords might go along with the idea. Then the EU would veto it!

It's not going to happen.

[Sigh]

You're right.

WITH THAT ATTITUDE, IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN!!!

If enough people shout loudly enough, often enough, it WILL happen, sooner or later.

A friend of mine was imprisoned for paedophilia because his sons didn't want to go to boarding school. They thought that, with him in prison, they'd be made wards of court and would be sent to a local school. They got their friends to testify that he'd molested them all.

My friend was advised by his barrister to plead guilty to avoid a heavier sentence, and the idiot did so - partly because he suffers mood swings and was on heavy medication at the time.

I know he was innocent because his sons owned up afterwards (and they remained at the same school).

So, by your logic, I suppose my friend should be killed?

Believe me, there are thousands of instances such as this, where the UK legal system has failed.

That's not a healthy family discussion mate. I talk to my kids about their future, their jobs or uni, their plans etc
. Not how I'd get them banged up if they were paedos. It's not necessary in a normal family. I get the impression taht you came from a 'not so normal' family. Am I right?

Way off the mark and, in my opinion Joe, bang out of order.

We have a very stable relationship and discuss many subjects, including work, sport, their children, their hopes and aspirations and a lot of what is reported in the media. I think we have a very good relationship that allows us the freedom to talk about subjects such as this without pretending it doesn't exist. As i said, we have mature discussions, not arguments which cause ill feeling and resentment.

"Hey son, I'll shop you to the rozzers if you become a Paedo".

You call that normal?
