Tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets in cities across the world for a weekend of demonstrations demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Pro-Palestine demonstrations took place on Saturday in various cities including Washington, DC; London; Paris; Berlin; Milan and Dhaka. In Turkey, a convoy of Palestine supporters headed to a US military base in the south of the country for a protest to coincide with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken‘s arrival to the country on Sunday.

For a two state solution to work there will be winners and losers (hopefully leading to winners all round if the violence stops). If they all want everything then there will be no solution, ever.

It was the UN offer to the Palestinians in 1947.
It looks ridiculous in hindsight.
Perhaps we should be offering a similar offer to Zelensky and the Ukrainians?
I'm sure US and UK would suppot that.

Or perhaps we could offer some US state for the Uyghurs to resettle?

If Israel were planning to eradicate all Palestinians then the casualties would be much worse than they are.
