Panorama - The Smart Meter mess

Or would have to employ a lot more people to cope. I assume they just did recalibration changes previously. 2 for me same house.

what is a recalibration change ?
So you think it would be cost effective to employ people with all the associated costs to merely go to a house and say oh there is nothing we can do ?
And as i said Cadent remit from the regulator is they are an emergency service provider . Which takes priority

You’re wasting your breath, he’s clearly lost and back peddling now

The gas meter here pre smart has been changed twice. They tell me that it relates to calibration. I asked the bloke that did it.

Smart - I have had a letter asking to change one or both of these. No reason given - ;) so I will ask when they do it.

They also did a flexible pipe refit. Why pass. The old one was replaced with a tissue thin stainless part. Tricky as the one they carry with them wasn't long enough. 2nd time I asked why not do a copper pipe extension. Bloke smiled and did it rather than just walking away. Get flux on the new part = get a leak. It happened.

No I am not. I 'm just relating experience. Also mentioning another reason Cadent would want to get out of it. There are now a lot more people installing them mostly via the major suppliers.

Show me some direct evidence of smarts not working due to faults that don't relate to the coms not working. That fault is all that has been mentioned in the news.

The fact is you keep repeating the same lies time and time again...

Thus the only question is as to why do you do it...

Ignorance or dogmatism?
Its this

Well you are lying about the fact that rules are different legally when it comes to the different types of meters...
I've never claimed that?

My claim is that you are no more likely to be cut off or switched to pre payment with a sm as opposed to a dumb meter.

So its settled:

You are more likely to have your meter switched to pre-pay or have your supply cut off with a smart meter.

Which is wrong...

Thus a lie!

Unless of course you can definitively prove that the process is exactly the same for both types of meters?

Here's a hint...

Try adding when you google energy meter, 'court order' and 'obtaining access' ;)
