8 years ago to the dot. Me and Mrs Bod where very ill. I've never had anything like it. It was horrible.... We could not look after our 2 year old girl. Our youngest was due to be induced the next day.

We are lucky I've got a big family.

I couldn't have drove that distance but if I could and it was my only option I would have. Nothing is more important than our children.

But if your illness was a highly contagious virus where viral load can have serious consequences - would you risk infecting your child in the close confines of a car for 4 or 5 hours with yourself ? would seem very reckless to me, especially if you had other family nearby.
