Politicians don't get to choose which votes they respect

Not if it is a non-binding referendum. When non-binding, the politician's job is to consider it and do what is best for the country.
Unfortunately politicians all along have been doing what is best for themselves and their party...

Hence the mess we are now in!

It would be really helpful if even one leaver could give an example where the EU has affected them negatively.

Something specific, not soundbites.
Must be an echo in here :)

But on that point, you must have thought that the EU had a negative effect on you when you put your cross in the leave box...

Could you tell us what it was?

How tasty was the one you ate on 29th March
I didn’t eat it then, it wasn’t ripe- too many cooks and all that so I put it aside to mature. It’ll taste that much sweeter on October 31st.

Why waste all our ****ing time then? What was the whole point of it?

Because Cameron put it in his manifesto to win the election, he assumed remain would win so it would stop the Eurosceptics having a voice.....and kill off UKIP.

economic fact

We don't send the EU £350 million per week.

Even if we did, we have been spending more than that on the Brexit shambles, since the vote.

We won't be giving it to the NHS either.

A no deal Brexit will cost the UK economically.

Need anymore facts DP?

But are they facts? You can’t just say something and then claim it as a fact. You need to give links to credible sources.

You tell me - you’re the one claiming them as facts. What’s your source?

What’s your source?
Sky news mostly, then checked with other news agencies when coming across as ambiguous. I then look at non-profit independents such as Full Fact to compare. I will consider The Express and The Telegraph and try and read through the bias.

But, like you said, who doesn't have an agenda. However, when a vehement pro-Brexiteer, EU hating politician like Ree Smugg says that a hard Brexit is going to hurt the UK for half a century - who's to argue.
