Pre-conditions?

Nonsense. She had, and has, an obligation to serve her country for its benefit.
ALL MPs have that obligation.

And it trumps allegiance to their party and it trumps what their voters tell them to do.

So you can't explain who those people are.

I don't need to. Unless you're willfully being ignorant, being your usual self and looking for an argument or any opportunity to slag someone off, or you've been asleep for the last two years, there are hundreds of MPs who've voted against anything in regards to moving forward with brexit after the referendum aside from legal challenges outside of the house of commons and lords constantly against legislation.

Of course I know you are just looking for an argument.

It was only an example of one kind of Brexit, warning what would transpire if that was end result.

Either you understand the customs union or you don't. Either you wanted to be able to trade without restriction of the EU of you didn't.

There wasn't a need to suggest it could be one way or another, if we were to remain part of the customs union there was little point in leaving in the first place and to do so would mean accepting free movement.

Either you wanted to be able to trade without restriction of the EU of you didn't.

That's an interesting though vague point Sammy.

Tell me, which countries do you believe we will be able to trade better with after resigning from the EU, than we can as members; and in what way will it be better?

You mean we couldn't leave and keep all the benefits?
We couldn't leave and have a trade agreement that mimicked the one we already have?

It's probably the leading quitters who don't understand the Customs Union.
What a shame the remain campaign didnt get that message across........

There is no benefit to keep the No Deal option up your sleeve.
Ordinarily the option of walking away from something means you maintain the status quo. This is not the case with a No Deal Brexit.

Ordinarily if you are shopping for a new car, you have the option of walking away from an offer from the salesperson, if they won't give you the discount that you asked for.
Brexit is very different to that. It's more like you have a contract car, but you want a better model, and you don't want to continue your payments, and you want a choice of a competitors offer, all at the same time, and at the same price.
As the salesperson refuses your offer, you are threatening to give up your car, do without a car until you can have the new model (that isn't available yet) and still not pay anything.
The salesperson accepts your offer, and tells you, by the way, you still have to pay what you agreed until the end of the contract period.

You walk away, without a car, still having to pay the agreed amounts, doing without a car until the new model becomes available, which might mean losing your well paid job travelling the length and breath of Europe, and taking lower paid employment within easy commuting distance by bike or public transport.
Himmy's back with his analogies :D
