I normally find people won't hear a bad word against Prescott or Blair are very loyal Labour supporter type regardless if they have done wrong.

?
I am the exception, then  Labour all my voting life........socialist priciples.....Actually thought Blair could create a genuine New Labour  Blue as the blood in my blue vein from now on  Blair has done for Lab what Th*****r did to the tories.
Yep, I'm floating voter and believe New Labour would make a difference to look after the middle class, what we have now is the rich people are getting more richer than ever before and the poorer are now worse off, Blair always lies his way through, I'm now have to travelled miles just to see a NHS dentist which I'm very lucky at the moment but now they are now thinking going private to Denplan. Blair 1997:"Everyone will have a NHS dentist by 2002" "We have 48hrs to save the NHS" blah blah blah.
Can anyone out there tell me what Labour had done to make you proud of them :?: I can't think of anything  I don't mind paying more taxes providing the balance is right all over but it isn't. Blair got to go now, he's boring, useless and a power crazy attention seeker. Cherie still abusing her husband position getting £30,000 after dinner speech  and nicked £100,000 fron the children cancer fund   The 2nd in command is Prescott, god help us.

When was this masona? What was she supposed to have done? If she's stolen money then surely she should be tried for it?

I detest Labour btw so am not sticking up for her. I just haven't heard anything about this before.

It was year in Australia from the children cancer fund, she was paid over £100,000 and wouldn't give it back to the fund, The Blairs are nasty greedy cold hearted paople. They don't care  The children cancer fund need all the support that the public can give them, the greedy Blairs do not need the money

Here one of them, Cherie profit money from cancer fund and another one here

Tight fisted bitch. Bet she wouldn't miss the £100K either - jeez, how much is she on a year as a QC?

The sooner these money grabbing selfish swines are out of power, the better

Sadly, to be replaced by a similar bunch.

Would any other politicians wife be any different

As the Scotsman article says she does do a lot of unpaid work for charities and it doesn't say she is aware of the problem so you are all being a little harsh.

She is also an outstanding employment and human rights lawyer and has represented a lot of ordinary people over the years with great success. She is known to take difficult and unglamourous cases on principle and does not work for large companies like some of her contempories do either.

She may be fabulously well paid but just like doctors, when lawyers of her calibre perform like she does they are worth it.

Can you think of one :?:
As the Scotsman article says she does do a lot of unpaid work for charities and it doesn't say she is aware of the problem so you are all being a little harsh.
So as many others public people do unpaid charities and Cherie is aware of it and decided to keep the money, Does she know how fill in a tax return form :?:
And how do you explain this if Cherie is not aware of it :?: 82% could've gone to the children cancer charity, I couldn't do it and if that doesn't make anybody guilty then they are sick.

A children's charity facing a ban over a failed fundraising dinner involving Cherie Blair has revealed it raised A$250,000 (£106,382) as a result of her Australian tour.
The Children's Cancer Institute of Australia faces deregistration in Victoria after a government investigation found just £6,690 (8%) of funds raised at a dinner in Melbourne on February 10 went to cancer research.

The institute was yesterday given an extension until November 3 to show why it should not be shut down after most funds raised at the dinner were allegedly given to Mrs Blair and the organiser, Max Markson.

She is also an outstanding employment and human rights lawyer and has represented a lot of ordinary people over the years with great success. She is known to take difficult and unglamourous cases on principle and does not work for large companies like some of her contempories do either.
So tell me how does Cherie find the time do a normal 40hrs working week including supporting Phony B liar and during the run up to the election period :?:
She may be fabulously well paid but just like doctors, when lawyers of her calibre perform like she does they are worth it.
Obivously children dying of cancer doesn't seem to bother her because money is the root of all evil

She will work very hard Masona, people like her always do, contrary to poular opinion. I am not saying she is right about the money but I think you should take her in the round rather than just dismissing her over one thing. She has been a supporter of civil rights in the courts for many years. She is the best QC in her field and you do not get into a position like that unless you are very very good at your job

Maybe she does, we're talking about Cherie's being mean & cold hearted, not if she work hard or not. Cherie would not have been to Australia if it wasn't for Mr Phoney B lair position.

I doubt if she is mean and cold hearted, she supports several Palestinian charities and is known to have given Tone a kick up the Jacksie about Palestinian rights . She made a statement a couple of years ago about suicide bombers which was actually rather thoughtful although embarrasing for the governement at the time and quite clearly has some strong views about the state of the world

She is a founder memeber of Matrix chambers in London which specialises in representing private individuals, sometimes for free, against big organisations in cases about human rights and or discrimination. That's not something a mean or cold hearted person would do. If she wanted to make the kind of big money that's possible at the Bar she would work for Tescopoly and the like which would put her in the million plus income bracket for a QC with her credentials. 300k per annum is not actually a lot of money for the real big hitters at the top of the legal profession

All I am saying is, whatever the truth of the Australian thing, you can't judge her so harshly without taking all of the things she does into account

So, kendor...which of the following is incorrect or untrue?

1. You are not prepared to publicly judge John Prescott.
2. You are prepared to privately judge John Prescott.
3. You disapprove of the public judgment of John Prescott.
