How can you possibly be friends after marriage with such a long 'engagement'. Statistically such marriages are doomed to failure because one or the other goes through a metamorphosise into something quite ugly.

I would suggest you seal your association with a new motorbike or a car.

does she have a fav romantic film or book...........

what about where you met..............or where u went on your first date......

or a special day (not valentines day)

I was with my girlfriend for 4 years had a son then lived happily for another 2 years then decided to get married she then changed overnight and 18 months later we divorced and she got the lot but i still consider myself lucky to have a beautiful son out of it so im still happy but out of choice i will never ever get into a relationship ever again
