No that's a coil spring. Only one possible plane of symmetry. Like a piece of threaded studding. You may be able to invert it and have it the same, but that's all. And there was nobody like Mr Coil.
 
Think smaller. The clutch one would have fingers, too...

I think not. Different people call them different things.

I can buy them under the description of "disc springs" from some very highly respected suppliers.

Yes there is a widely used name for them which you could find quite easily. They were patented by the bloke whose name they carry in1867.
The company of the same name is still running.

There sure as hell isn't a "legally defined" most beautiful thing in the world!
