1. Silverline

3. LIDL/Parkside (yes, really!)
4. Evolution, Bosch green
5. Ryobi
6. deWalt
7. Passlode
8. Hitachi, Virutex, Senco
9. Bosch blue, Makita Hilti and Metabo
10. Mafell, Festool, Fein
A friend of mine works at my hire shop and i asked the same question about Hilti.Whilst Hilti have a good reputation, i struggle to see how they can be so much 'better' than the top end mainstream. Clever marketing? protecting their well earned reputation?.
Concept impact driver - 3
Dewalt impact driver - 7
Makita impact driver (liIon) - 9/10
Concept autofeeder - 2
Senco duraspin - 8
I dont actually bother using an auto feeder any more so perhaps these will go one ebay if I can ever be bothered.
Maybe more to come....

are these negative scores or just the same with a dash inserted
That may be true of their breakers, but (from experience) it isn't true of their circular saws; for example WSC85 - brilliant saw (then again it should be, it's made by Mafell), WSC255/WSC265 - flawed designs with weak baseplate (which is why so many of them get broken)A friend of mine works at my hire shop and i asked the same question about Hilti.
He said once you have worked on them you realise that they are way ahead of any other tools.
