thanks so far :D

please look and if your chosen manufacturer hasn't got 5 scores they wont be mentioned so give me your thoughts :D

I'd like to add a couple more to my list.

I've got an evoloution rage saw which cuts steel. It's not the best product but value for money if accuracy isn't your number 1 priority such as cutting unistrut on site then it's great. 6 out of 10
dewalt angle grinder 5 out of 10
rexon table saw 8 out of 10, let down by the flimsy rip fence.

I might add some more as I remember other stuff I've got!

thanks for your further contributions :D
will be formulating the list tomorrow or friday :D

only 13 tools have more than 5 votes[one person one vote average over all there individal tool brand ratings example hitachi drill 6 hitachi router 7 hitachi planer5 so average will be 6 for that persons hitachi score]
argos homebase bxQ wicks ect are sheds
lidl aldi netto are shops

neth 27 and my self posted on both forums but only counted once ;)

Nice work big-all. Not a great deal different to my general perception of the order of things although I'm a bit surprised Ryobi came ahead of Hitachi. I guess that might be because I've never used Ryobi stuff and it's better than I thought.

the reason for that was one person rated hitachi as 1 for a bad experience
if you remove the 1 point the total then reads 54 divided by 8=6.75

this why a larger number is essential to stop rouge results

The conclusions i have drawn from this thread are;

DeWalt are good at cutting wood.

Bosch are good at drilling concrete.

Hilti are good at breaking concrete.

Fein and Fes are good at shaping wood.

Makita Matabo Milwaukee Mafell are good at building

B&D, Hitachi and Riobi are good at dismantling.

Aldi, Silverline and Lidl need to man-up.

And the conclusions I have drawn from Noseall's post is that I'm either going to have to spend a fortune or put up with some tools doing their best but still not being the best

i have another list to add
anybody else want to leave a score you don't even need a list 1/ 2 /3 /4 tools doesn't mater its not scientific so dont worry about getting it a bit wrong with enough posters the wrong ones will cancel each other out :D

Bar 2 paslodes all my tools are dewalt so how can i rate them 1-10 compared to other tools............i can't, i haven't used any so in my eyes dewalt gets 10-10

its not a scientific survey :D
people have nothing to go on other than manufacturers blurb and price so anything is better than nothing
