Reality in Hospitals right now

It’s too late for you - I think you’re already infected with something. Stay indoors. Keep away from all others.

Stop being an idiot, read your own link. It says 'Cummings became convinced that herd immunity' etc, yes he was convinced by medical experts. The plan was changed when it became clear what numbers were involved, and fair play to Boris and Cummings for that.
That's not necessarily true. He became convinced but that doesn't mean he was convinced by a statistician, a doctor or an expert in infectious diseases. He has a history of making his own decisions based on his own research. Which isnt a as thing, but assuming that he's simply parroting doctors is baseless.

I honestly can’t think of anyone better to lead this country in a crisis

'forced' to act...And while he was reluctant to introduce such tough measures, it is claimed a mutiny threatened by senior cabinet ministers forced him to back demands from his medical and scientific advisers for a crackdown.
Lol.

Feck Bozza off and put the medical staff in charge.(y)

Here we go. More 'claims' and 'rumours'. Easy to say, hard to prove.

Did you read the link that Noseall put up?
I am not a Boris fan, but that's because he's a politician - don't like any of them! But nobody is above criticism if it's due. Blind acceptance is scary..

Yeah, I did. I just tend to disbelieve stories that start with "it is rumoured" or "it is claimed". Now, if one of those so-called senior cabinet ministers would come out and say "I, and others threatened a mutiny" I’d believe it.

Fair enough. But on this occasion I think that there's some truth - cabinet members will say stuff off the record, have done for years.

Yeah, I did. I just tend to disbelieve stories that start with "it is rumoured" or "it is claimed".
Perhaps that is where you are going wrong.

Medical people might say things like "It is thought..." or "We think at the moment..." until they know for sure,

whereas Trump for example just states things like "It'll be over by April" due to his fantastic brain and innate understanding that he inherited from his uncle.

Yes, and that is when they are presenting a hypothesis. "It is claimed" is stating a fact and I’d just like some proof of that fact before I accept it.

'It is claimed' is a fact. That the claim is true or false is irrelevant.

That "it is claimed" is a fact.

Whether "what is claimed" is true or false is irrelevant - although it's not really irrelevant but rather crucial.

No you dont.

You voted for Johnson, you didnt ask for proof, you accepted lies.
You can’t have proof for something that has not yet happened. There should be proof of something that has claimed to have happened.
