Remind me what bending the knee is all about?

The premier league is the biggest and best league in the world.

Instead of adopting a gesture from another country that is exclusive; why not create an all inclusive gesture before each match. That means we are all United.
Re read the PL statement again maybe?

Ahead of the new season, #PL club captains have reaffirmed their commitment to fighting racism and all forms of discrimination.

What is that if it is not, an all inclusive gesture? But you don't have to join in, or accept it of course.

I honestly don't think you understand the point.

Stand around the centre circle with the right hand on the opposing players shoulder and form a ring including the referees.

The PL could create a badge that stated why we stand together.

Against abuse of others different to us (Racism)
Against abuse of women
Against abuse of referees
Against abuse of our fellow players.
Against all abuse online

And anything else thst needs to be kicked out.

But BLM means just that Black lives matter.

I think all lives matter
You can take it as an evolution from the League's 'Kick It Out' campaign against racism...taking a knee is a simple, quick gesture that is easily understood to be against racism of any kind.
Or do you wish to start a new campaign against racism towards white people?

You are not getting the message are you? Good reason for it to be continued.

No.... I am getting the message and it's crap. You can't piggy back abuse of Women onto a black movement protest. You are are falling to understand that these footballers are virtual signalling without taking ownership.

If football wants to make a stance on all forms of abuse then come up with something original rather than hitching a ride with an American BLM black power movement.

They then may have to look at the way they conduct themselves other than pointing the finger at others while they bend their knee.
