Remind me what bending the knee is all about?

why do many immigrants to this country insist on maintaining their own culture without wanting to integrate into British culture?
Many want to integrate, but also want to hold on to their own culture.
If you had to abandon the UK you would no doubt hang on to British life, probably by talking English, watching UK TV, drinking pints and eating fish and chips. You wouldn't just forget your entire life and assimilate like a Borg into your new life. Doing this does not mean you are not also wanting to be part of your new community.

But, if you come across barriers to integration, then you might start to give up on the idea and hide in your home watching Eastenders and drinking John Smiths.

Your very right. I've told the story of Paul Canovile Chelsea's first black player. It mattered to me as a young man, he was a Chelsea player I cared not that he was Black.
Disgusting what
that man took.

Read his story Black & Blue.

He despises the whole BLM thing. He’s also a Chelsea fan. He simply DOES NOT GET racism, bless him.

I don't think he understands racism isn't just about colour
So what else is it about?

Ahead of the new season, #PL club captains have reaffirmed their commitment to fighting racism and all forms of discrimination.

Where does it mention colour?

The gesture became associated with football in the UK when players and officials in the Premier League started to take the knee to highlight racial inequality within the game and to support the Black Lives Matter movement.

it has changed since then. Have you read the premier league statement, which was the point of your opening post.

The clues in the picture.
b l m or premier league bending the knee?

I don't fully agree with b l m movement, but I do understand why it started. Much more relevant in USA than here, but it's still relevant in uk.

I do fully agree with fighting all racism and discrimination.

So they no longer Bend the knee and black players don't point their Hitler style black power fist.

No it it hasn't changed.
Do a huddle
Stand on their heads
Wave your hands in the air
Like you don't care

Bending the knee is exclusively BLM

Until you remove your blinkers I cannot help you any further. The PL statement is there for all to see.

Feel free to rant all you like, you are, at best, misguided.
