No one told me
Build quality of Sage is better IMO, and I've had both machines.
I don't think the Breville version of the Sage Barista will be as good with a good few years of use on it. The grinder mechanism is similar but not as good, plastic is cheaper and marks more easily... it feels flaky... but yes it's cheaper, horses for courses.
@Bod ...
If you are using a bit whilst you practise your next animal latte art, I spotted this in Tesco.
Lofbergs Coffee
You can get a Kg for £11, which is cheap, should keep you going for while.
I bought a bag yesterday, not as good as fresh beans (but think it's only just over a month roasted), but was curious to see how good/bad it was.
Only had one coffee with it, but need to dial the grinder in to get the best, so will report back, when I've pulled a couple more.
What's your biscuit of choice to go with a cup - biscotti?I was really impressed with the Lidle beans that I was practicing with. I'm still practicing with my preferred Starbucks beans but they now taste to strong and bitter. A bit more practicing and I'll order some fresh beans
I don't take the biscuit. They are not my bag.What's your biscuit of choice to go with a cup - biscotti?
I hate soggy biscuit.
That counts. Haven't had one of those for ages. I'm in a Hobnob phase at the mo'. Dipped, not dunked. I hate soggy biscuit.
Why???!! How do you end up with half a penguin? Were you part way through eating one and just got bored?
There's barely two mouthfuls in one anyway, I swear they were the size of housebricks when I were a lad.
Honestly id expect it to give me a handjob as well as the perfect coffee each time for this price.I can see why this is the price it is. Apart from wiping ya bum it just does it.
Would you accept a hand job from a mechanical item?Honestly id expect it to give me a handjob as well as the perfect coffee each time for this price.
