SHELL LOFT CONVERSION STEPS

Hi,

I have just had a shell loft conversion done and I need some assistance in understanding the steps needed to complete the loft conversion to a finished state.

I am a competent DIYer - would some one be able to help me to understand at what stage would I do the first fix of plumbing,electrics? would that be after stud walls? after insulation?

Any tips and guidance will be appreciated.

Would depend on the plans , we are not psychic .

Attached is the loft plan.

Stairs will be put in by the builder.

I will need everything else to be installed:

1)electrics - new ring
2)lighting - new radial
3)heating - radiators
3)hot/cold water for bathroom

You need to talk to the building inspector

You will not need a ring. A 20A radial will be plenty.

Depending on the existing circuits, you may be able to extend them.

Ditto the lighting.
