I honestly believe withdrawing Diesel cars from sale is the wrong thing to do.
I think we need to go right back to the invention of Rudolf's engine to understand why it was invented.
I believe cars should continue to be sold with Diesel engines, with a few changes.
They should be tweaked to run on vegetable oil. After all, Herr Diesel designed the engine to use this fuel and emissions are much cleaner than when using petroleum-based Diesel.
This could have a knock-on effect for farmers, growing rapeseed or suchlike.
