Sinn Fein members elected to Westminster

It's not even historic though. When your taxi driver from the airport probes as to what team you support it is endemic. When they point out on the journey where kneecappings used to happen most, and why, "you got an appointment and had to turn up or else". It's sick. And the comments by some on here bring that recent visit flooding back.
Oh dear, have you considered some sort of counselling to help you recover.

, perhaps housing larger families
In the 1960s, the Roman Catholic birthrate was 35% higher than the corresponding Protestant birthrate.
So, if an unskilled labourer like Paddy with his 10 or 15 kids lives in terrace house, and his neighbour Billy, also an unskilled labourer lives in the same type of terrace house with 4 or 5 kids.
Who do you think is going to be worse off.?
Fortunately the Roman Catholic birth rate has fallen dramatically and may converge with Protestant birthrate.

I recovered, I made it home.

It's sick, They got more houses than us! We got more jobs than them! And so it goes on and on and on and....

It'll never end. The rest of the UK shouldn't be burdened with It. And neither should Ireland. It should be an independent fenced off community where everyone can just kick the **** out of each other.

Some Irish friends from the republic visited a Belfast nightclub and on offering to pay the entry fee with euros were set upon by the bouncers and badly beaten up, says it all

Blup

When I was there the City was on lockdown because there was an Old Firm match on. They don't show it on TV in the city centre but no worries, Mick offered to take me somewhere on the Shankill Road and Seamus offered to take me to the Falls Road, if I wanted to see it. Depending on which side I was on of course. (I politely declined).

Apologies for the names, I made them up, but the rest of it is completely true.

Probably using fake Euros, Southerners are renowned for it.

I agree with above.

Can't you read.
The report i posted shows that the allocation of council housing disproportionately favoured Roman Catholics.
The conclusion of the author of the report stated. that if there was any bias, it was to the benefit of Nationalists.
Carefully selected criteria to provide the result that's wanted.

The whole of NI was gerrymandered into creation.

Who are these so called 'Historians'.
Refer to the link you posted.

Even the report Vinty posted admits to there being counter opinions to the authors.
"Some historians have however gone further, and give the clear impression that the allegations of discrimination were true"
About ninth paragraph before the end of that section on Housing.

So the housing allocation made no allowance for the size of the family.
So a two bedroomed property could be allocated to a childless, Protestant couple.
And the same type of property could be allocated to a Catholic family with 4 or 5 children.

It meets the simple test of fair housing allocation, but it totally ignores the real housing needs.

Do they still dress up in orange sashes and daft bowler hats, just to wind up the native Irish? Or is that but a myth?
It would help if they put a halt to that marching band nonsense.
The French certainly wouldn't like it if we had a march to commemorate Waterloo.
