It's the value of what they own not how much money they have. Be interesting to know how much they pay their workers in some sort of cost of living indexed way. Usually as low as they can get away with where ever they are or can transfer work to.

It is worth remembering that one of the known techniques used by Putin's Empire to stifle criticism and opposition, is to fill SM and mass media with contradictory and made up stories, in the interests of sowing confusion.
The intention is that some people will say "well, the russkies aren't the only villains in the world" or "maybe what people say about them isn't true" or "you can't blame them really" and others will find the whole issue too confusing and give up.

Just got news that Putin is selling gas at half the price from about two weeks ago and he is almost giving the county's oil away in order to get access to forgien currency, desperate to stay in power or what. Sadly if that does not work he will get even more desperate lets hope someone takes him out but is then replaced with some that is strong but fair unlike any leader I am aware of atm other than the New Zealand lady.
