SUrely Russia will have had anough experience of convoys to manage the logistics.
Ukraine has no air force, unless they borrow one. They had one tactical drone - they've used it.
Kyiv is 100k from the Belarus border.

WHat I'm surprised to NOT see is mass protests across the less dangerous parts of Ukraine. If Russkys saw 100's of thousands of Ukrainians not wanting Russia's "Liberation from Nazism", it would reflect on Putin. There's enough non-official communication going on in Russia to get to the bulk of the population.

TBH I think it's all in even more of a what will happen will situation now. Propaganda flying from both sides which will include fake stuff and information that may or may not be correct.
It looks like Belarus has joined in and there has been mention that Russia hasn't moved as much in as they have available there.

Explosion in a building. Looked more like saboteur work to me. Chechens have been mentioned in that area. Rolling back time, google, they were involved in fighting for both sides ~2014. The UK were involved in training the Ukrainian army then. One involved in that mentioned including street fighting. Not an official reason for being there. Reluctance to provide them with heavy weapons also mentioned.
The EU council like NATO. Long series of speeches about how great they are. Also mentioned how quick they were to take action. Correct actually once others really had.
It does sound like Russia politically speaking will have more restriction than Iran had - in different areas. Seems Iran lost SWIFT too but not that clear. I know that Iranians can visit here as some one I know is married to one who visits now and again.

Putin has studied his methods and is repeating the ones he chooses.

They are making themselves vulnerable, but of course that isn't a guarantee of failure.
It's hard to see how this is going to end? Putin's plan relied entirely on sweeping in and taking control very quickly. People throwing in the towel with minimal bloodshed and damage. But it's gone way beyond that - way beyond what Putin imagined. Realistically, Russia has endless military resources, so will probably take control eventually, but control of what? Puppet government installed - what then? Putin must realise they won't just pull back and everything goes back to normal. He has basically destroyed a democratic country and in the process destroyed the prosperity and progress of his own country for decades to come. I see no resolution to this as long as Putin has control.
