Someone is trying to start a war in the Ukraine, It's NOT Russia (edit: yes it is)

Ukraine wants to join the EU to escape Putin's influence, whereas the UK left the EU because of it.

The video I posted is significant as some have wondered why Russia hasn't done this sort of thing earlier on even without warnings.

How to you think various things got into Baghdad after a short devastating touch of shock and awe? Rid on top of tanks etc?

When people are street fighting it is a bit difficult for a cameraman to pop his head around a corner and start filming without risking immediate death. In any case soldiers don't really want the encumbrance of a member of the media with them, who propably doesn't the language, and who is a liability

it's a war of words to some extent backed up with some photo's and videos that may be doctored.

It seems Russia missed a TV mast. Not much of a bang but some smoke. :confused: A miss, services feeding it taken out or a fake but shortly after them mentioning via warnings that they will be taking communications out. That can mean nothing what so ever coming out of the Ukraine. Communications - what was mentioned first has now turned into buildings as far as our media are concerned.

A cluster bomb - maybe ??? - on a small car park. Latest a few mins ago a siege is a war crime. Flatten the place instead maybe.

:(Afraid I don't like war by anybody and of any sort. Seems we can not live without it.
 
Looked up cluster bombs. The bomblets are often incendiaries. Typical one will go through 2-3mm of steel to ignite whatever's behind it. They seem to very in size from small anti-personnel things not much bigger than fireworks to a few kg. Often use thermite which burns a couple of minutes.
Ukraine is widely reported as having used them inthe Donetsk region for years. Along with a host of other countries in various countries.
Yes the ones in the car park looked like one of the smaller bomblet ones.

Even in Ukraine they all have phones with cameras! I daresay as this drags on we'll see plenty of gruesome closeup stuff. They aren't really in towns street-fighting yet.

Didn't you know GPS precision was stepped up in the Iraq war? All our TomToms became more accurate as a result because they kept it working - non-blurred, in effect.. At the time that benefitted the US side. The skies were simpler then. Here, it's probably benefitting the Russ side more, so we may see the other countries' sats turned off.
Currently I can see about 30 sats, and it's using about half those for a fix. Only 3 are Russian - barely enough by themselves..

If they shut comms down and really mean it forget mobile phones. Electronic countermeasure can mess them up too. There are probably some server farms around -?
 
As posted by me yesterday it was interesting to see the RT news in shock as a guest in Russia/Moscow was being interviewed and the guest unexpectedly became almost tearful and said she feared a WW3. The interview was quickly closed.
