There are 2 areas not one. The west is pointing out that he will take them as peacekeepers with the need being engineered by Russia. There are signs that the self declared pro Russian area has been forced back towards the boarder. This is probably why a military whizoes here fear a gradual erosion on Ukraine and that the basic problem is a little more widespread than people might think.

So if Russia does go in Biden says great. He can't loose. Truth about the situation ? Pass.
 
Here's summat to ponder upon . . . If Putin wanted to take an area back into Russia to liberate it's peoples, why hasn't he already done this? Why isn't this reason the single most overwhelming theme of the propaganda peddled by your MSM?

Putin doesn't want to these areas back into Russia.
He wants to insert them into the Ukrainian government with the power to veto Ukraine joining Nato.

Complexed situation and at a point where even the pussy/Putin and our clown/Boris does not know what is happening.

The bottoms line = Putin does not know what he is doing, will do or not do. Our clown Boris knows what he wants to do and is doing it, EG distact attention from his woes. The idiot Biden, the silly bastard does not know if he is going, coming or eating as his strings are pulled by the vice president.

Good question. Answer seem to relate to the Minsk agreements where the pro russians get some sort of autonomy. History says the main Ukraine wont have anything to do with it. That is the political solution. I have seen the comment that the current President's election pledge included end their war and take back the Crimea. How?

The Beeb interviewed a couple who live in a town the Soviet built to rehome the Chernobyl people. Man and wife, one Russian the other Ukrainian. It was built just before the Soviet collapsed and people had moved in. The couple have friends and relatives who are living in Russia. Children too.

The fact that it was a Soviet state and that right wing nationalists took power seems to have been entirely forgotten. It was already a mess. I've already mention how much it cost Germany to take on the Soviet aspects of their east and level up. Everything was state run. pensions the lot. The Ukraine looked like it would be one of the successes when the soviet block collapsed. Instead it was one of the worst. Corruption is mentioned by all parties and still is. They had IMF problems earlier as well.

There will be NO "missile attack" on the capital of Ukraine. Why the F would the pussy putin do that when close to half of the people there are pro Russian.

Sound bad but it may be better to have a lot of pain now and let Russia fully control Dombass as it is over 80% pre-Russian and then the long-suffering going on since 2014 may stop. Then people on both sides do not have to worry every dy about a bullet taking them out or a shell landing on them.
