Despite what some of you think, Gibraltar is still a strategic military position and the British military, (of all 3 services), will not stand back and let Johnson and his cronies dismiss it as irrelevant.
The people of Gib voted overwhelmingly to remain British and adhere to British laws. They will not lie down and roll over.
Spain does not have the clout to overly influence trade sanctions by any EU member states. They rely heavily on British tourism, amongst other countries, to boost their finances. It is so much easier for tourists to change their destinations to other similar places then face exorbitant costs to go there.
Finally, is the original post a personal point of view or is it, yet again, the media speaking about these things without actually putting and evidence or quotes from high up officials in the countries involved?
