They need 54 letter to trigger a no confidence vote, they may hit that, I don't know. They still need over half of 360 votes to carry the no confidence, that's a big leap. It might happen, I'm doubtful.

Keep your bunting for the Queen's Big Party and hold your horses: there's a line of thought from some Tories who believe a vote of no-confidence at this time could help Johnson as 54 letters of no-confidence would have to rely on persuading another 100 MPs to join in with the defenestration.
That doesn't seem likely at the moment so if they go off half-cocked it's almost certain to blow back in their faces.
