Did I say that
Clearly you were, at one point concerned about the data being uptodate. But when it was suggested you ask the originator of the issue, for more uptodate figures, you decided it wasn't needed.
Thus, either a) it wasn't important, b) or you had the more uptodate figures, in which case you would have provided them, but you didn't for reasons unknown, c) or you were just making silly, unhelpful comments.
Which was it?
It’s 4 years out of date……

Cheers.
Ask fixthelav for more uptodate figures.
You're not interested in more uptodate figures then?

Many of whom have conveniently 'misplaced' all their ID documents.

Urban mythology doing the rounds yet again.

Migration Watch is a right wing campaign organisation.

100% of Vietnamese and Cambodians fleeing the Chinese/American/Khmer Rouge wars had no passports or travel documents.
It wasn't because they' ditched them, it was because they never had any to start with.

If you were going to flee the country under threat of death or persecution, would you apply to the government for a passport?
Would you go through customs and get your exit stamp in your passport?

Give your comments a bit more thought before posting anti-immigrant right-wing propaganda.

Doesn't matter what Migration Watch is, the figures were obtained from the Home Office under an FOI request.

These particular migrants weren't Vietnamese or Cambodians fleeing the Khmer Rouge.

They were simply migrants who had been instructed by the people smugglers to lose/destroy their documents/passports.

Still think it's an urban myth?, if you do, you're wrong.

It was the same principle. They fled without ID papers.
What do you think would have happened to their families if they were caught before they left the country?
