Build some more 4* hotels while they're at it.

Friend of mine is a car salesman in Bridgwater, Somerset. The top bod of their dealership group visits the Bridgwater dealership on a regular basis. Unfortunately the hotel he stayed in is now closed and full of spong migrants. Bearing in mind he's the head honcho, it's a fair bet it's not a cheap fleapit. We're paying for this lunacy and it's disrupting people's lives.
I agree something needs done re immigration, however I tend to lay the blame more at those in power as opposed to those coming in. If they're exploiting a poor process/system, whose fault is that?

You mean Nosey doesn't live in a multicultural paradise? Or am I misunderstanding?

Strangely Himmy has hidden himself about as far away as is possible to escape diversity in rural France. Seems they don't like it up 'em.
Notch lives in an isolated little village in a 1M+ house who's only issue is a bit of litter in the village and some teenagers who ocasionaly hang around the Church. Look here see for your self.

The biggest problem in my village is white teenage males, that leave litter, do graffiti, hang around in groups by the church
The man lives in world of his own in a little protected bubble of a village.

Definitely needs to get out more. Yes, another one like Himmy. Diversity is great - just not in their neighbourhood. They have to consider their (or more likely their Mum's) house prices.

Yep its good for you but not for them. Until they get machete wielding Somalian gangs running down their little village street he will wish for the good old days of a few teenagers by the Church and a crisp packet gently blowing down the road.

Bit like the situation in slightly posh Altrincham. Now up in arms because the large local hotel is now full of young male migrants. The meetings to protest were full to bursting point of local residents. I would lay big money on many of the ladies and gents at these meetings being perfectly OK with mass immigration a few months ago and would be fully behind the 'refugees welcome' banner wavers. Then reality hit. :ROFLMAO:

It’s common to mention other threads
It is, as long as you are able to keep the concepts of the discussion separate. You have proven to be incapable of doing so.

I accept your apology for getting your wires crossed.
You intentionally cross-threaded the issues in the different threads.
You didn't, you intentionally cross-threaded the comments. Now you're trying to wriggle out of it, and cover your mistake.
And you're still doing it, because you lack the courage to admit your mistake.

It’s not up to date.

There’s data from 2021 - the present day.

Nice try!
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
You said it was out of date. It's not out of date until it's been superseded with more recent data.
It doesn't matter how many times you claim an untruth, it'll never be true,.

Let's take an historical example to prove the point.
Victory was declared in Europe (VE) on May 8th, 1945. years ago.
That is the most recent data available, even though it was 80 years ago. It's not out of date because it's never been superseded by more recent data.
Let's take another example:
The turnout for the 2010 election was 65.1%. That is not out of date, because it's never been superseded by more recent data. But it 14 was years ago.

In order for data to be out of date it must be superseded with more recent data. So far you have refused to find more recent data to make Denso's data out of date.

Go and watch some BBC News stuff, you might find the piece. I saw it this morning.

If you think I'm going to waste my time finding a link to the piece to placate you, you've got a long wait ;)

This is a GD section on a DIY forum, not a uni course or formal debating society.
I have and I do watch BBC News stuff, and I can't find it anywhere. I'm convinced it does not exist on BBC News.
And you've just made another refusal to provide a link to a picture which you presented as an argument.
If you are content to present unverifiable images to support whatever argument you wish to make, go ahead.
You can safely claim that you meet the criteria for joining QAnon.

What is the name of the hotel to which you refer?
Let us verify your claim. You regular make unverifiable claims about your observations on holiday, relating to immigrants and crime levels in the country of your visit, in your presentation of racist innuendos.
Let us verify your claim about this hotel in Somerset, and which car dealership is close.

Don't you think a better way of dealing with the asylum backlog is to properly finance the system dealing with asylum cases.
The stupidity of making a law that claimed all those arriving by small boats would not have their application accepted, meant that UK created the conditions for increasing the backlog of asylum seekers.
If the UK refuses to consider their application, what do you think is going to happen?

The UK created the conditions for the build-up of the backlog of asylum seekers waiting in limbo. Asylum seekers who are willing to work but are no allowed to. It's a ridiculous nonsensical situation. The government of the UK created the problem, and must accommodate them somewhere.
