He wasnt just a random guy was he , he had outstanding drug charges against him . So yep like most drug searches he is going to hear the snap of a rubber glove

There was no mention of drugs. The article says "for reasons that aren't clear".

i looked at the one you highlighted . As you must have thought that was the worst case .

They reported the charges as 'misdemeanours' which means a small amount of an illegal substance was found - 10 years ago. Hardly a reason to detain the man for two hours and subject him to a strip search, cold showers and humiliation. The American authorities are fuelled by Trump rhetoric these days. No way i'd go back to the States while they're in power.

Hasn't entry to the US always been tough, I don't see these stories as anything new. From memory I seem to recall John Lennon had a few run ins with them.

It is standard procedure for anyone with a drug charge re entering the country he is not an isolated case .
What would someone class as a cold shower
2 hours at American customs do you think this is long ?
Have you ever travelled to the US you will find they are one of the most strict custom officials in the world when they tell you to do something you do it even the simple instruction of stand behind the line till called will have them at you
 
My lad transited through Houston to and from NZ, but not when Trump was in power. He had no issues at all.

And transiting and entering and staying are two different things are they not
