Edwards isn't liked at the BBC apparently, bit of a bully, arrogant, suggestive texts. Apparently he was being investigated by Newsnight before the claims by the Sun based on at least three claims by BBC staff.

It did amuse me the other morning listening to the radio. It was like an academic debate about the journalistic nuances and complications surrounding the 'duty' to report news and potential for misrepresentation in carrying out that 'duty'. There didn't seem to be anybody present to remind these people that the Sun don't give a toss about any of that, as long as they can twist and turn some tittle tattle to sell a few more newspapers, it's job done, mine's a G&T.
