I disagree, for you everything Tory good, everything Labour bad
no Torry bad, labour worse.

I'ver said I support the bill if it actually addressed the real need. That is a way for a person to go, before an illness took everything from them.

12 months not 6 (y)
no family court judge sealing the order (y)

"I'm going to put you on a pathway that will cause you to die within five days."

This is not officially called Euthenasia.
Privatising death is not palliative care

12 months of pain?

How would you feel being subjected to that!
The bill defines terminal illness as someone with 6 months or less to live. I would extend that to 12. Otherwise the person will be spending their last “good” months in paperwork.

Have you read it?

Yes.

How does a person with MND benefit? What do you think a family court judge with zero medical expertise brings to the party?

You're not seriously suggesting a terminally ill person is being asked to sign forms?
Once more, for the hard of hearing - this Bill is designed to protect the relatives of a terminally ill member of their family from prosecution should they adminster a lethal dose to end their loved ones suffering.
