Went to the tip the other day by car and was told I have too much rubbish - 5 bags allowed per trip!
Someone told me they used to have to pay to dispose of rubbish in their tip; fortunately that was never the case in my local tip.
Can anyone explain the logic of limiting the amount of rubbish disposed? Surely, we're doing the council's job and they should be doing everything they can do encourage us! By making it difficult to dispose of rubbish, flytipping is being encouraged.
With my local tip limiting to 5 bags, I would then be making multiple trips, contributing to more traffic and air pollution when 1 car trip would have sufficed.
