I remember years ago asking how much to pick u an appliance. They wanted £25!!

Our council tried charging for collections, I think a similar amount. They kept that up for a few years, then dropped it due to people complaining about fly-tipping, and the higher cost of clearing that. Now it's three bulky items collected for free, twice per year - but you have to book the collection, which can take three weeks.

Drive around your local area and find where there are building works, look for skip, revisit in the dead of night, dispose of rubbish in said skip.

On the numerous occasions I've had this done to me - the local Kebab house used my skip to dispose of large bin bags of their rubbish, receipts an all, I rang em, a polite conversation about receipts and bags appearing in country lanes....

The other way I dispose of rubbish is dustbins, McDonalds have one just before their drive through, I use this one to clear the van out :)
