The national front changed its name a few times and ended up trying to be a genuine political party.
It was no surprise to anyone when griffin who was chosen to be the spokesperson appeared to be thicker than a whale omelette. griffin was obviously not the brains of the outfit
Far right political parties do that. They also appear to soften their ideology to appeal more to central voters
But their core ideology does not change, it's anti-foreigner. Nick Griffin espoused the ideology precisely.
There are numerous examples:
UK - NF, BNP,
France - Le Pen and Front National, now Rally National
Sweden - Swedish Democrats have softened their message, but their ideology remains the same.
Sure there are many examples of political parties changing their names, but their core ideology does not change., In the case of central, centre-right, centre-left and left parties, it's purely a change of name to reflect the current consistency of the party.

I don't like Nick Griffin but he isn't / wasn't the problem, and the problem remained, and remained covered up by the mainstream media.
Glodwick in Oldham, and other such places in the north, are absolute hell on earth and demonstrate horribly the mistake of multiculturalism.
The MSM ought to show the reality of life in these places. The white people who can afford to, move out, and are away from the problem leaving the less well-off whites to suffer the double whammy of the horrors of multiculturalism and being called racists.

The mainstream media failed to report the vast majority of racial attacks on immigrants for decades (and still do). In addition the police failed these immigrants by not policing those areas as they ought to have. This led to the vengeful attacks on white people. But these attacks were immediately pounced on by the media, and the police investigated these incidents in a way they had chosen to not investigate the previous racist issues against the immigrants. It was a two-tier police system and media reporting.
Of course Griffin isn't the problem, he just exploits the problem and throws petrol on the fire.
What the BBC did in its report on Oldham was shine a light on the way both sides in the community have failed to come to terms with living side by side and in the process allow these divisions in understanding each others cultural distinction to become exploited by far-right groups.
Both sides feel let down by police and politicians as nothing is done to cure the root cause of these problems; poverty and decline.
If the Tories really mean to 'level-up' in the north then they need to put their money where their mouth is and get on with it.
It must the majority of the population making it hell on earth. As only 19% are Asian, I fail to see how "hell on earth" can be blamed on Asians.
Or maybe it's the 1.24% of Black people, or the 1.8% of mixed ethnicity people.
One has to wonder where were all these people when children were being abuse in children's homes all around the country, or by people in authority, or by well-known people, or by the leaders of various religions. Not a clue if his outpourings are anything to go by.
I have stated on numerous occasions that I do not disclose my personal details. There are some posters on here that either have access to personal details and have been proven to intentionally and vengefully disclose those personal details, or they are liars and only claim to have access to such details.
Neither Mods nor Admin have discredited their claim.
There are other posters on here that eagerly weaponise personal details because the power of reasoned debate eludes them.
It's not that big a deal, really.
Perhaps the question; 'have you ever lived in such an area/town?' would be easier to answer.
It's ******, he knows he's not lived in Oldham. Same has he takes people for fools with his coyness about being on here under another name. A knave, a charlatan?
