The mainstream media failed to report the vast majority of racial attacks on immigrants for decades (and still do). In addition the police failed these immigrants by not policing those areas as they ought to have. This led to the vengeful attacks on white people. But these attacks were immediately pounced on by the media, and the police investigated these incidents in a way they had chosen to not investigate the previous racist issues against the immigrants. It was a two-tier police system and media reporting.
MSM fails miserably in this respect, even including papers like the Guardian.

In the 1980s they all completely misreported the Handsworth riots, during which the mob burned down the Lozells sub-post office, killing the two brothers who ran it, as a black on white event. It was actually started by the local West Indian drug dealers who the police had cracked down on and became a good excuse to go and loot Asian owned shops in Lozells and up on London Road in Handsworth (either side of Aston Cross where it all kicked off).

The same sort of thing happened in the last riots in Bradford when members the Pakastini community torched the sikh temple just off Leeds Road and ransacked the sikh-owned cash and carry next door. Ellis Brothers, a major tool distributior with several million pounds worth of new stock were only 3 of 4 doors away from this, yet were untouched. The MSM reported that as a black/white confrontation.

So. not always what the media tell you...

It's not that big a deal, really.
Perhaps the question; 'have you ever lived in such an area/town?' would be easier to answer.
Of course, lived and worked in numerous typical inner city areas for many years.
I was born in an inner city area. We only left that area due to council clearing the area for redevelopment.

Another way of saying no lve not lived in Oldham which is specific in its the area under discussion. A knave?

Well in that case, simply name a 'typical inner city' you used to live in and work from there...no need to say where you're at now at all.

How many times do I have to say it! I do not disclose personal details!
That includes previous addresses, cities, areas, streets. etc.

Are you still beating your wife?

It's still personal data and could potentially provide clues as to my identity.
So stop asking for personal data, past or present.

Why not ask the mods or admin for my details. According to one poster they had access to my personal data and posted it in this forum.
That has not been refuted by admin, nor mods, and the poster is continuing to post.

What is with some people, that they're unable to grasp the concept of anonymity, nor respect it?

Its restrictive a factor as you'll appreciate in being able to join in a discussion as in this thread, with your sweeping statements which are devoid of anecdotal evidence.
Im not sure of the relevance of the wife beating question but like a bath she gets a wallop once a week whether she needs it or not.

It's not a restrictive factor in any discussion in this forum.
I know that smoking kills, but I don't smoke. I know that GB News is a right-wing news site, but I don't watch, read, or listen to it. As far as I know I never have. I know that if you jump out of an aeroplane without a parachute, you're going to die.
One does not have to experience things to know the expected result. That may apply or may not, on this issue of Oldham.
Moreover, personal anecdotes are not evidence and not even reliable versions of reality.

Stop phishing for my personal details!

That's some horsesh*t right there, pointless exercise having a discussion with a knave.

It was hardly a discussion, it was more like a determined phishing attempt.

Feck me, keep yer 'at on - nobody's fishing for sprat as far as i can see. Andy simply asked for anecdotal evidence you know what it's like in Oldham.
I don't. Never been. All i know of Oldham is Paul Scholes managed the football team, briefly, and they're in dire peril of dropping out the league. Many places, north or south have similar issues and if you've lived in such a town you'll know the tension can be implicit in some areas.

I think he has an high opinion of himself (misguided) if he thinks I'm remotely interested in his personal details.
The problem is he's second guessing the questions he'd be asked and the replies he'd get if he was to give away the location of his inner city experience.
Every right too, given he's a patronising wind up merchant.
Oldham got relegated.

It's truly amazing, it really is.
Some weaponise other's personal data.
Others go to great lengths to discover personal details, then when they can't they weaponise the choice to remain anonymous.
It must be something about their psyche, that they need personal details with which to insult others when their arguments fail.
Then when they can't obtain any personal details, they resort to ridiculing the choice to remain anonymous.
Remaining anonymous and keeping personal data confidential is a perfectly valid choice, as you have both accepted.
You won't shame me into revealing any personal data, and you shouldn't even be trying. So why the hassle?
It's my choice and it's a perfectly valid choice.

It's carp...

Been there, got the T-shirt, etc

But Glodwick, whilst deprived, isn't quite hell on earth

Are you related in some way too Sarah jobandknock? I'm sure she will get her mum and some of her friends and colleagues who went on the same course to get a media degree in 'media studies' to champion her but it doesn't paper over the cracks that as an insight into glodwick, that's as **** poor as you can get.
