Trump defamation settlement (Ed.)

did Trump rape a woman?

yes or no?
This woman or any woman? Who knows.

What we do know, is that he’s never been arrested, charged, found guilty, convicted, sentenced, served time for rape.

So it would be strange for a court to find him guilty of rape without any of the above.

We know you have a soft spot for convicted felons and rapists. When is the judge up for slander?

just wondering who would be liable for slander on a public forum the poster or the owners for allowing it to go unchecked

If it is hosted in America, the site owner is covered by Section 230. If found to be libelous, it would be the person that posted who is liable.

I don’t care if you defame trump. But no jury has found trump guilty of rape. He’d be in prison if he was.

A jury found that he sexually abused her. They seem to agree that he stuck part of his body in to her without he consent. The judge said that he pretty much raped her but not in the strictest sense of the word given that he may have used his finger rather than his pecker.

I answered the question. It was deleted. The above is not the answer. UK defamation law applies.

It wasn't a criminal trial, for rape, sexual assault or anything similar. It is for good reason that the burden of proof on criminal cases is higher.

More unsubstantiated claims of desperate people.
no you made your feelings clear in a previous post . what were your words something like , it might just be a condition they had
Most people would want them strung up and their baws cut off . But you try and justify it

True. After such a long time a criminal prosecution would be unlikely to proceed.

One needs ask why he refused to provide a DNA sample.

he did offer DNA but judge said it was too late

IIRC, Assange was accused of rape not for the pecker-penetrative element, because he ignored the other party's request that he "bag up" (that being a definition of "rape" in Sweden).

Ergo, "rape" has different definitions in different jurisdictions.
