Trump is talking sense

Trump is trying to stop legal challenges to his policies by stripping security clearances and imposing other penalties against lawyers who bring the cases. It is all part of the same slippery slope towards authoritarianism.

Apparently poo tin went to church after the failed assassination attempt on Trump and prayed for him with the resident priest

Because Trump was / is his friend

Jeez us wept

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

In a podcast by Racheal Maddows, is claimed Trump stays up late ( what is he doing every night, watching porn?- my words not hers) then sleeps in hence no real stuff from Trump till the afternoon

Town hall events are getting interesting. Seems the republicans are getting hell if the lawmakers attend elsewhere same is directed to their cardboard cutouts ( wonder if cutout makes more sense through lack of utterances :giggle:). Democrats are getting hell too for sitting on their hands. AOC and Bernie are drawing crowds Trump wished for.

Interesting times

According to the Telegraph, Rolls Royce (jet engines, not cars!) have drawn up an emergency plan to move production to the USA to avoid tariffs.

I am sure somebody will manage to blame Keir Starmer, if this happens. But I will blame Trump, fairly and squarely.

A Rolls spokesperson said: “We have additional capacity within some of our US operations and continuously seek to explore options to ensure that our global internal supply chain is optimised for delivery to customers in the US.”

Makes sense to shift some production there, last year RR N. America picked up the order to re-engine the entire B52 bomber fleet.
It wouldn't affect staffing levels this end, I think Airbus are their largest customer and Air India placed the largest jet engine order ever with RR.
They still only rank no.3 out the the 3 main engine manufacturers but I can see this changing in the coming years as they expand into the narrow bodied aircraft market.

I'll fairly and squarely blame Starmer if RR don't pick up the lions share of the nuclear SMR deal.
