Do you think Israeli people might find that picture insulting?
You mean like being accused of playing the race card?
It's been said many times on here.
the race card will be played
play the I can’t breath card as well as the race card ???
just playing the race card?
bringing the race card out.
and many, many , many more

I do at least have labour to thank for tanking the Pound against the Euro.

In what way is it critical? I asked if you thought they would find it insulting.

or do you mean criticism because they are Israeli?
Criticism because they conflate Israeli with Jews. Israel, and its population should rightly be criticised for the genocidal actions, and the support given by the population of Israel.
Whether they are black, brown Jews, Palestinians, Druze, Christian, Zionist, Muslim or Martians, most are supporting the genocide and dispossession of the Palestinians.

an Israeli national living in London, is responsible for the actions of the government of Isreal?

righto.

Again you prove my point perfectly.

As a British citizen, am I to blame for the policies of the Labour government?

I don't think the defence here is that Israelis aren't a race for the purposes of this Act. It would be that this is a comedic device to draw attention to the policies of the State of Israel. That's certainly how I took it.

I do at least have labour to thank for tanking the Pound against the Euro.
It's wavered between 1.16 € to 1.18€ to the pound now for 7 or 8 months, except for a blip over Christmas.
At the moment it's sitting nicely in the middle of those extremes.

So to make any money out of the transaction you'd have to be exchanging £10,000 or more to make/save £100 maximum if you caught it at the relevant top and bottom of the fluctuation. (for every £1,000 you get an additional £10 if caught at the top and the bottom of the fluctuations)
And we know no-one can catch the top and bottom of the fluctuations because no-one knows what the future will hold.

Of course if your boat is on fire, you might save a couple of hundred on the purchase of a £40,000 boat.

If they are an Israeli citizen one assumes they vote in the Israeli elections.
If they voted for the current Zionist dominated government. they are partly responsible for the policies of the Israeli government.

So I'm responsible for Keir Starmer, JohnD is responsible for Liz Truss, and Noseall is responsible for Boris Johnson. righto.

If you voted for that political party, or that politician, you are partly responsible. It's called collective responsibility.

which is a massive problem for someone trying to argue they did not intend to be insulting to a group protected by sec 18.
No-one is stirring hatred against Israelis. It is the Israeli government, and its genocidal actions and policies, that is being criticised.
But it's fair and proper that those Israelis who are supporting the genocide and dispossession of the Palestinians deserve criticism, but that isn't all the Israeli population. it's a subset of the population.
The Race Hatred doesn't apply to a subset of a nation or race.
Palestinian killers and those dispossessing Palestinians are not a race nor a nation.
Similarly those conflating Israeli with Jews are not all Jews, and not all Israelis, they are a subset of those, and others.

In fact, in relation to the Public Order Act offences you linked, is the point whether Israelis would find it insulting, or whether other people might find it insulting and be caused to hate Israelis as a result?
