U.K. to accept EU illegal immigrant quota.

How will he do that? And why do you think a bloke who's entire popularity is built on hatred will somehow be able to run a country better than anybody else?
Borris had a go.

Don't be daft.

It is not economically-feasible to "stop the boats".

FFS; my mate swam across a few weekends ago.

While I'm not making light of the difficulty of crossing the Channel, it's hardly a thousand miles of shark-infested waters now, is it?
No immigrant is ever going to try and swim across while there’s a fleet of boats to choose from!

All I’m saying is we need someone tough to take a stand. Torries aren’t, Labour won’t.

Borris had a go.
And failed. Although being more educated and surrounded with clever mates is always handy in government. Tommy's mate are just good for punching people.

saw some dolphins off the needles a few weeks back.

I suspect most of those crossing experienced worse in their crossing from turkey to Greece ro Libya to Italy.

That’s a start

We must remember that this is not new, yes, it's got worse, but people have been crossing in boats for decades.
I remember holidaying in Southwold in the 90s and the harbourmaster was telling us about how they found about 40 people squeezed into the hull of a boat that sailed in the previous weekend.

What is new is our failure to deal with it. And that is a failing of the government that has been in power since 2010.

nah, we had loads more under labour. But to be fair, success and failure can't measured in numbers. If the organised gangs are well mobilised now, the problem is harder. We used to have people sneaking in lorries or walking down the train track in the tunnel. Now they've worked out they can knock out a dingy for 30 for less than £600. With the RNLI ready to taxi them back, they don't even need enough fuel.

The problem is this: every country has a strategy to make it someone else's problem:
- greece pushes back to turkey
- France wishes them bon voyage from calais and beats them up if they stay
- Italy prosecutes the taxi NGOs
- albania wants money to take theirs back
- spain ignores them

Abject failure. It's almost as if they want it to continue.
Yes. It is much easier and cheaper to do nothing, and then let people moan, than to fix the system they broke.
More money in their own pockets this way.
One day people will wake up and see what is really happening. But until then, we have Tommy Robinson.

Starmer's making a mistake playing with the asylum question by doing a deal with Europe. Its bound to end in failure. He should campaign on the basis of a doing a sensible trade deal.

Blup
