The EU is merely sticking to it's rules and principles - rules and principles the UK helped draft!

If another country were daft enough to want to leave instead of us, do quitters believe we wouldn't be calling for adherance to those rules and principles?

You do know as part of the EU when all countries agree on new legislation its actually better for businesses because they have uniformity and that it stops countries from trying to compete against each other for investment by lowering standards in a spiral to the bottom.

What is it that you hate so much. Leaving the EU for you is not based on facts. It's a belief system because if you were capable of processing facts you would have changed your mind.
