If you have a Wiser room stat in a zone with one or more Wiser TRV’s then the room stat is in control. The TRV’s do what they are told by the room stat via the hub.

So is the stat the only thing that actually calls for heat and then only if a trv is turned up?

You aren’t turning a TRV up. You create zones/rooms and allocate TRV’s to the zone/room, if you allocate a room stat to the zone/room then it is in control.

So i finally sorted it, turns out my channels were back to front!
