It is more of a political phrase to term the western values of christianity that differentiates between different cultures to us.Is Judeo-Christian a denomination of Christianity?

I used to spend many afternoons walking down to what we knew as the Crusaders fortress on the bank of the River Jordan. Didn't look like a fortress to me, just a hill with a few rocks on top. I used to take my then girlfriend (a dancer from Bournemouth) there. I told her it was an old Crusader fortress, she said 'are you sure, it doesn't look like one'.
Many many years later I found an article online about excavations at 'Ateret Fortress' where they unearthed the remains of decapitated crusaders.
You've edited your name out of my post. I'm not in the mood for childish games today thank you.
OK.I replied very quickly.
Later you edited your post to add my name.
But by then it was too late.
That is the truth!

If you don't know about the religious basis of Britain, it does beg the question. Are you British and did you grow up in Britain? So, it sounds like the UK could be described either as a Christian country or as a Judeo-Christian country, depending on whether somebody is talking about religion or politics.
type of thing, it does depend upon who is talking about it, Jewish religion will rarely use this term as christians believe Jesus Christ is God, while Jews reject his divinity altogether. So, it sounds like the UK could be described either as a Christian country or as a Judeo-Christian country, depending on whether somebody is talking about religion or politics.

Christianity was born from Judaism. It shares many of its values but not all of its beliefs. I do not believe Jesus is God for example and would describe myself as a person with Christian values.type of thing, it does depend upon who is talking about it, Jewish religion will rarely use this term as christians believe Jesus Christ is God, while Jews reject his divinity altogether.

'Was'I am British and was brought up in Britain as a Christian in a large Christian family. I was very active in our Church. I am friends with many Christians. I have never heard any of my family or friends describe themselves as "Judeo Christians". Until today, I have never heard of Britain being called a "Judeo-Christian" country. This is new to me and I am expressing an interest. Don't be so suspicious![]()
