Judeo christianity is a term used to refer to a western christiaity depending on who is using it. It really doesnt matter as you are just differentiating our beliefs from say another denotion of christianity that is not a western christianity.

It is funny you should say that, because I have just been reading that in Britain it is almost exlusively used by the right wing. I am learning all sorts today!

God knows what you are reading as christianity is not right or left wing, you do however have the old testament and the new testament, it has nothing to do with right wing views or left wing views.

I have now found out that in this country "Judeo Christian" is mainly a political term. As you were the first to say, above. And those who use it to describe the UK are almost exclusively on the right wing of politics. These are just facts. Why they do that would be a much more interesting discussion if anyone wants to chip in with a view.

Not facts at all, The term "Judeo-Christian" is sometimes used to highlight shared values, such as the importance of a moral code, belief in one God, and the dignity of human life. ``where in that is anything to do with right wing?

The question was how many British people when asked would describe their religion as "Judeo Christian"? I would say close to zero.

You seem to be desperate to swerve a very simple question.

To me it is very simple:

Millions of people in this country describe their religion as Christian

Very, very few describe their religion as "Judeo Christian"

Judeo Christian, as stated above, is a political term.

And it is mainly used by the right wing.

These are simple facts.

Well yes and a few other things too that have made me think this, he has had a go at me on a few occasions calling me a waste of time and a few other things when he has mistaken some of my comments and had to keep clarifying points, so I think he probably is and why he likes to drill down on some things.
