Many forms of non-religious control, .. well you can take your pick from just about any collectivism : capitalism, socialism, communism, marxism, satanism, just about any ism are a form of non-religious control.

Interesting that you didn't mention fascism, racism, neo-liberalism, nationalism.

We do seem to have drifted away from this very loose comment, trying to track away from the original point.

I don't doubt there are some true conspiracy stories, but has anybody got any definitive proof of any ?
