What gets me about Rooney saying a naughty word is the coverage its getting. OK, the match was being shown live on TV so whoever was watching that would have heard what Rooney said. But they showed the clip on MOTD and on some news reports. MOTD is a highlights programme so why didn't they cut it out altogether, or even bleep out Rooney's bad language?? IF it is that offensive and dispicable, then surely the BBC should be in trouble for choosing to air it on TV? The FA are a joke and they just get worse, the BBC are not far behind them.

Don't be a t*t, if alonso and mascherano hadn't left we'd still have the best midfield in this country, and would never have dropped into the europa cr*p in the first place.
We had the league won with them a couple of years ago, until benitez reverted to type and drew his way to second place.
I don't like ferguson much but he's always understood that it's worth going for the win rather than playing safe for one point. Which is what I could never stand about houllier and benitez. Fortune favours the brave, and the pair of them we're the most cautious managers we've ever had. Hodgson is in the same mould, thank fck he didn't last long.
I'm not convinced about dalglish yet, I remember him leaving beardsley out once for a big game at tottenham, which I never understood. Though he did put together one of the best teams we've had (or anyone else).
