Don't be a t*t, if alonso and mascherano hadn't left we'd still have the best midfield in this country, and would never have dropped into the europa cr*p in the first place.
We had the league won with them a couple of years ago, until benitez reverted to type and drew his way to second place.
I don't like ferguson much but he's always understood that it's worth going for the win rather than playing safe for one point. Which is what I could never stand about houllier and benitez. Fortune favours the brave, and the pair of them we're the most cautious managers we've ever had. Hodgson is in the same mould, thank fck he didn't last long.
I'm not convinced about dalglish yet, I remember him leaving beardsley out once for a big game at tottenham, which I never understood. Though he did put together one of the best teams we've had (or anyone else).
But whatever happens, he's got to be a big improvement on the boring sh1tfests we've had served up by the 3 clowns previously mentioned.
Ok, ok - was having a joke at LFCs expense . I agree, letting Alonso go (and more importantly, thinking the team wasn't any worse for losing him) is one of the most stupid things Rafa did whilst at Anfield - and that's saying something. I guess the jury's still out with Dalgleish - but i fear for LFC that he wont be given the time or the money to do everything that now needs doing...
