Because he is a nutter - massive nutter.
It's more than that, he's devious and dishonest, a manipulating liar.
He knows that if he says people are trying to destroy America, he'll get votes, and those same people won't worry about his grabbing a woman by the pussy.
Add to that, I imagine a psych would find a personality disorder, or two.

It's really annoying when some of what he says, makes perfectly good sense!

According to what I saw today, Fat Tw@t was indicted (in simple terms) for

- Coercing Cohen to take out a loan to pay off SD
- Failing to declare the pay off as a campaign expense
(these seem a bit of a stretch to me but, hey ho .....)
- claiming the money he paid back to Cohen was a business expense, and claiming a tax deduction
- conspiracy (the above)

Let the lawyers argue the toss

before this case gets to trial, there’s the Trump inciting violence on the Capitol and there’s Trump trying to push voter fraud in Georgia.

oh and he has some civil lawsuits for debts as well.

Grow up Notch, do you not think if any of the other cases had any merit, they might have made it to court before this case, which also doesn't have any merit.

Nothing wrong with hunting witches, But let's at least be honest about it, we're hunting witches. We're definitely not hunting anything to do with the Biden family's involvement with Ukranian companies or the insidious world of the Clintons.

All will be revealed one day, We'll probably both be dead by then.

The toss was a separate payment....

How many years does it take to prepare a case against, say, inciting a riot? And for the avoidance of doubt, they have phone evidence, text evidence, video evidence, the verbal evidence of the honourable opposition, some would say he's bang to rights, why no prosecution?, why go for a prosecution which has little chance of succeeding?

Why do you think it has a poor chance of success? It's clearly incorrect bookkeeping after all. That much is bloody clear. Three different instances of trying to hide affairs or illegitimate children all classed as business expenses.

It may succeed, but as a misdemeanour maybe? it does appear to be a far lesser crime than 'inciting a riot', for which the evidence has no bounds apparently, verbally, digitally and photographically. There's far more evidence evidence of the 'Trump incited riots' than Boris's birthday party, and look what happened to him, he got an FPN.
