It's a felony that would block Trump standing for President again.It may succeed, but as a misdemeanour maybe? it does appear to be a far lesser crime than 'inciting a riot', for which the evidence has no bounds apparently, verbally, digitally and photographically. There's far more evidence evidence of the 'Trump incited riots' than Boris's birthday party, and look what happened to him, he got an FPN.
All the other court cases Trump has lost recently (and it has been several) have been for simpler issues that he's been able to just pay the fine for, or where one of his companions have been a firewall to hide his own guilt.
