No - but there is a special breed that are frequent snake-oil imbibers and will not accept that they're peddling and believing utter BS;

a) because they've paid for it and can't admit that they've been conned

b) because it makes them feel superior to the pond-life that buy shiny boxes in Dixons, Comet and other sheds

Adam - thanks for posting that link - I enjoyed reading all that hokum with immense pleasure. Haven't had such a laugh in ages.

I just hope that anybody who buys it, and gets an electrician in to do the installation, doesn't tell him what they paid for it, for Mr Sparky will be laughing so much that he'll no longer be able to do a safe job, and may well add the cost of a new pair of trousers to his bill.

Seriously - if this is what some people can be persuaded to do, then I advise any electricians out there to bone up on the BS terminology, and practice it until they can say it with a straight face, for just look at the retirement plan that it offers you (some of the prices from this guy's website):

Quite possibly not - and could well invalidate the guarantee.

Also, he's selling 6491X singles as meter tails, instead of 6181Y DI stuff.

And (not dangerous, except to your wallet): "Cable (Flexible permanent CPC) Super Radex is used as CPC throughout the system."

Lord knows what difference "super" cpcs make, as there should be no current flowing in them....
