Popped over the plot to just check on things. Psst. @Notch7. Here’s a bit of Tom porn for ya!

Picked up my new Fire TV cube and set it up with all my kodi add-ons - Asgard, The Crew, Rising Tides, Sport HD and Daddy Live. Mrs Mottie has gone out with her mates to an open air cinema to see Pretty Woman. She's taken sunglasses, a warm coat and an umbrella! I’ll just watch Guy Ritchie The Covenant.

Accidently left the ignition on , with radio/TV/nav system running, for several hours, whilst setting caravan plus new air awning up. Fathoming the new awning, took much of the time, and by the time I noticed the ignition was on, it wouldn't crank the car over :( I checked it with a meter, and down to 9.2v.

I keep a small battery charger in the caravan, but on looking for it, that wasn't there - I'd borrowed it and left it in the garage. After a bit of thought, I remembered I had a few yards of 3c 0.75mm of flex in the boot, for emergencies, which proved only just long enough to stretch from caravan battery compartment, to the car's battery, where it was parked at the far side - not an inch spare. 30amp 13.8v PSU keeps the caravan battery topped up, and with it, slowly and eventually my car battery, overnight. By this morning, the battery had enough charge, to crank it over to start. After taking off charge, I checked again with the meter, but it showed 0v. It also showed 0v on a 1,known good AAA. So I needed to fix the meter first. Just the shrouded test lead not making contact, inside the shroud.

Today, I'd planned to take us to a pub I know, for a terrific carvery Sunday lunch, but found that had closed suddenly in February, so we had to simply go elsewhere.

I spent this morning doing a bit of cleaning in our new house, and then after lunch I converted two single sockets into doubles, following guidance from the good people on this very forum! Quite proud of myself now.

Visited a mate today which meant I had to drive past stone henge

Some protest camp is near there dunno what they are protesting about ?? And

Hundreds of people were standing in a field looking at stone henge

Can’t quite see the attraction tbh perhaps they are seeking some type of spiritual enlightenment ?

Dunno

They're still complaining about the tunnel to be built along the road beside the monument. I can see why they're still at it but don't really agree with their arguments. If they really want to protect the area maybe don't go tramping around it en masse like a herd of heffalumps.

Been up my workshop for a while today doing a bit of maintenance. Repaired and painted the fence at the rear, de-weeded the forest of weeds that have popped up from literally cracks in the concrete and generally tidied up the rear yard. Looks a lot better now. Front fences and parking space are next on the list the next time I come down. It's not until you tidy something up that you realise what a f'cking state it was in and you'd just gotten used to it!

Bit behind here.

Washed the new car. 400 miles and filthy.

Of course, it rained after I'd done it, then the albatross with diarrhoea who lives permanently on our chimney promptly shat on it.

That's nothing. One time i was digging at the top of the garden, under the treeline, and one of the fat pigeons took a dump on my shoulder.

I remember my sis in the 70s. We were on the beach, running and she looked up right when a gull took its dump!

She literally got an eyeful of gull poop....

There was a vid of a Canadian? news reporter looking up at some gulls and got a mouthful
